I've always been considered mature for my age, or so I've been told throughout my life. I have been asked many times, why I don't smile, or laugh? Why am I so serious, quiet, or sad? But I have proven to many people that I smile and laugh a lot, that I can be silly and fun - but I'm not going to act that way if I'm just meeting you. I actually find that quite annoying in strangers - the ones that approach me and giggle at anything, acting as if we're the best of friends.

I don't think many realize the true nature of a good friendship, or knowing someone for so long that you don't have to act a certain way around them.

I prefer to listen and observe first, then I will act however I see fit.
